This position requires the candidate to live in Knoxville, Tennessee. The OEM Tech Manager must travel to scheduled OEM accounts to provide education and training on proper product installation, while promoting the value and integrity of the Wet Sounds brand. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A minimum of 5 years of 12v installation experience is required. An equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively communicating in one-on-one or small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions. Capable of resolving issues involving limited variables in routine, standardized situations.
Basic computer literacy required. Must be able to download customer files, convert documents to print format, scan, perform file transfers, and complete other related computer-based tasks.
