Celebrating Industry Recognition: Wet Sounds Leaders Featured in Fall Issue of Boating Industry Magazine
2nd Oct 2025
We’re thrilled to share that Wet Sounds has been recognized in Boating Industry Magazine’s September/October 2025 Issue – not once, but twice!
Our very own Business Unit Director, Mark Gerick, has been named one of Boating Industry’s prestigious "Movers & Shakers" of 2025 (page 14). This annual program honors trailblazers who are reshaping the marine industry through innovation, leadership, and vision. Mark’s dedication to promoting boating safety, responsible practices, and the next generation of marine professionals has earned him well-deserved recognition.
In addition, Wet Sounds was spotlighted in the same issue under Marine Audio with the headline : “Boaters keep the volume high and the standards higher” (page 22). This feature highlights the relentless commitment of our engineering and product development teams to deliver durable, high-performance audio products that withstand the harshest marine conditions.
As Lee Teeples, VP of New Product Development, explains: “Salt spray is a huge test for us, which is an accelerated test that represents how even the air on coastal regions can penetrate materials and destroy them. Cosmetics also matter in terms of audio. Looks matter too.
From performance to aesthetics, Wet Sounds continues to push the boundaries of marine audio. That’s why we’re excited to announce a fresh new look coming for our 2026 products, because audio excellence should look as good as it sounds.
We couldn’t be prouder to see both Mark Gerick and Wet Sound recognized as leaders driving the industry forward.
